ISViewer Pro app privacy policy
Information on the processing of personal data of users of the ISViewer Pro app for iOS and Android, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Last updated: 30 October 2026
1. Data controller
The data controller is Intex System S.r.l., Via delle Fonti di Mezzana 7, 59100 Prato (PO), Italy, VAT no. IT01559090475. For any request about personal data: info@intexsystem.it, tel. +39 0574 639613.
The app may be distributed in a customized version by paint manufacturers or points of sale that are customers of Intex System and is connected directly to the registered point of sale. Requests sent through the app are handled by that point of sale, which acts as an independent controller for any personal data under its own privacy policy.
2. What the app does
ISViewer Pro lets users browse color collections, see color characteristics and costs, send requests to the point of sale, apply a color to the walls of a photo with artificial intelligence and read the color of a sample with the IS-SC01 spectrocolorimeter connected via Bluetooth.
3. Data processed
- No account and no data requested: the app has no registration or login and does not ask the user for name, email, phone number or any other personal data.
- Photos: images taken or selected by the user to color the walls are processed only on the device, are not sent to Intex System or any third party and are deleted immediately after processing.
- Requests to the point of sale: they contain only information about the colors and products selected, sent to the point of sale the app is connected to.
- Color measurements: values read by the IS-SC01 spectrocolorimeter, which are not personal data.
- Technical connection data: to communicate with the point of sale's system, the device transmits the technical data needed for the connection, such as the IP address, used only to provide the service.
The app does not use analytics, statistics or advertising services, does not collect location data, contacts, health or biometric data and does not use advertising identifiers.
4. Device permissions
- Camera and photo library: to take or choose the photo of the room to color. The app only accesses the photos the user selects.
- Bluetooth: to connect to the IS-SC01 spectrocolorimeter. On some Android versions the system requires the "location" permission to scan for Bluetooth devices: the app uses it only to find the instrument and does not detect or store the user's location.
Each permission can be denied or revoked in the device settings; the corresponding feature will then be unavailable, while the rest of the app keeps working.
5. Purposes and legal bases
- Providing the app features requested by the user, including sending requests to the point of sale: performance of the requested service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Ensuring the operation and security of the service and fixing errors: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Complying with legal obligations: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
Data is not sold, is not used for advertising or profiling and is not shared with third parties for their own purposes.
6. Recipients and transfers
Photos never leave the device. Requests and technical connection data are received by the point of sale the app is connected to and, where necessary, by the controller's authorized staff and the hosting providers of the systems the app connects to, appointed as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, the transfer is based on the safeguards of Articles 45 and 46 GDPR.
7. Retention
Photos are not kept: they are deleted from the device immediately after processing. Requests to points of sale are kept for the time needed to handle them. Technical connection data is kept only as long as strictly necessary for the operation and security of the service, unless required by law.
8. Children
The app is intended for professionals and adult consumers and is not directed at children under 14. The controller does not knowingly collect data from children.
9. User rights
Users may at any time exercise the rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. Requests, including requests to delete data, should be sent to info@intexsystem.it. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
10. Changes
The controller may update this policy; the valid version is always the one published on this page with its last update date. For data processing on the website, see the website Privacy Policy. In case of differences between language versions, the Italian version prevails.
